What and why
Music is all-encompassing. Like its soundwaves, music is undulating and enveloping. It can be enjoyable and fun, and it moves, whilst moving its listeners. That’s what the Sharjah World Music Festival was founded on.
Returning for its 4th installment in 2017, the Festival needed a new and refreshed look, feel and overall vibe. Showcasing mesmerizing Flamenco to soothing jazz and everything in between, the excitement and essence of the Sharjah World Music Festival had to be captured and flaunted.
The contemporary logo is a graphical abbreviation and draws inspiration from the S and Arabic ش (shiin) of Sharjah. If you look closely, you’ll see a musical note and sound waves too. Our aim was to keep it concise and compact, yet fluid.
The scope of work spread over branding, flyers, posters, social media posts and radio. All the designed collateral featured musical elements and a bold color scheme to inspire and encourage the audience to join the fun of a global music fusion fest.
